Get RealFrame on your machine.
One install per computer, and it takes about a minute. Install it, sign in, and the machines on your account are there waiting. No VPN to configure, no ports to open, and every session is end-to-end encrypted.
RealFrame for Windows.
Control your other machines from this PC, and turn on hosting when you want to reach this one.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit

01What you get
One app, both directions.
There is no separate viewer download and no separate host download. The same install lets you reach your other computers, and lets this computer be reached once you switch hosting on from inside the app.
- Connect out to any machine on your account
- Host this machine, off until you turn it on
- Clipboard text moves with you between the two ends
- End-to-end encrypted, so only your devices can read the session
| Operating system | Connect from | Host it |

| Linux | ||
| macOS |
The macOS download installs both apps. Sharing a Mac needs two macOS permissions, and the docs walk through them. The iPhone app is in beta and Android is still in development.
02Before you install
The short answers.
What people want to know before they run the installer.
Do I need an account first?
No. Download it now and create the account when the app asks. Signing in is what lets the app find your machines, so you will need one before your first session.
What does it cost?
The Free plan covers 2 devices and one session at a time, and it does not ask for a card. Solo is $3 a month if you outgrow that.
Is this the host or the client?
Both. One install gives you the app you connect out from and a host you can switch on later. Hosting stays off until you turn it on, so installing does not make the machine reachable.
Will it update itself?
Yes. The app checks for a newer build on launch and replaces itself, so this page is somewhere you come once.
Can I run the whole thing myself?
Yes. Self-hosting is free for personal use and keeps every byte on your own network. The setup guide walks through it.
Setting up your first machine? The host setup guide covers it step by step, or create your free account first and follow the prompts.
